Modern development teams deploy to multiple environments: development, staging, and production. AgileTune's environment tracking gives you visibility into where your code lives at every stage.

How It Works

Each task shows its current environment stage as a colored badge. When code moves from dev to staging (via CI/CD or manual promotion), the task's environment updates automatically if you've connected GitHub.

Setup

  1. Go to Project Settings → Environments
  2. Define your stages (e.g., Development, Staging, Production)
  3. Map GitHub branches or deployment events to each stage
  4. Configure rules (e.g., staging requires all tests passing)

Benefits

  • Product managers can see what's deployed without asking engineers
  • QA knows exactly what to test in staging
  • Release managers have a clear view of what's going to production
